Help us build playhouses for children, raising funds for affordable housing!
It's time to build playhouses!!
On Saturday, December 3rd, Sea Island Habitat along with Charleston Habitat, Dorchester Habitat, East Cooper Habitat and Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County will be convening at a local Lowe's Home Improvement warehouse for an incredible building blitz of playhouses. Each affiliate has been working hard to secure sponsors for each of their playhouses and now we need more volunteers!
Each wooden playhouse is a custom-made to the likes and interests of a child(ren) in our community. These families qualify as low-income and due to financial restraints would be unable to provide a gift like this to their child(ren) for the holidays. We want you to help make a kid's holiday season memorable by building them an incredible playhouse.
The volunteer details are pretty simple: You will be part of a team that is constructing, painting and decorating a playhouse! At the end of the build, you will get to reveal the playhouse to your team's family and see the kids flip out with excitement over this new awesome addition to their backyard!
